The purpose of the Regional Implementation Projects is to support the implementation of School Wide-Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (SW-PBIS) across the state for all students. It is the intent of this project to expand the logistical support, technical assistance, training and coaching to school districts so that schools in every region of the state have the support necessary to implement evidence-based SW-PBIS with fidelity.
The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) provides funding and collaborates with the Regional Implementation Projects and Wilder Research to build regional capacity in four key areas: Training, Coaching, Evaluation, and Coordination. Leadership and collaboration is provided through participation on the Minnesota PBIS State Leadership Team.
