PBIS MN Institute & Film Festival 2020
Save-The-Date! The 2020 Minnesota PBIS Summer Institute and Film Festival is scheduled for June 16 and 17, 2020 at the Minnesota Department of Education in Roseville, MN. There is no cost for the Institute, but registration is required.
Online registration will open on March 15, 2020. Please note that there will be no morning drinks or refreshments and lunch will be on your own.
Breakout Sessions Request for Proposals
We are seeking breakout session presentation proposals from administrators, educators, institutions of higher education, parent/advocacy organizations, students, and related service professionals. Sessions are 75 minutes in length and focus on practical application of topics, products and/or materials that promote the sound application of PBIS in education.
This year's Summer Institute will focus on connecting PBIS with practices that promote equitable outcomes in education.
The deadline for submissions is February 28th. Email MDE.PBIS@state.mn.us if you have any questions.
Film Festival Submissions
The purpose of the film festival is to highlight how schools and agencies are using videos to support their work in PBIS. This is a light-hearted competition to acknowledge videos from a variety of categories. The request for Film Festival Submissions will be posted in March 2020.
